Which fairs cover machinery, automotive and chemicals?

• WIN EURASIA (machinery and automation): organised by Hannover Fairs at Istanbul Expo Center, normally in June. The 2026 edition was scheduled for 10 to 13 June [1]. The organiser's site lists the next edition as 2 to 5 June 2027 [2].
• Automechanika Istanbul (automotive parts and services): Messe Frankfurt Istanbul, Tüyap Fair and Congress Center. The edition of 19 to 22 May 2026 drew 51,127 visitors from 130 countries [3]. The site lists the next as 24 to 27 March 2027 [4]. That is a shorter gap than usual, so confirm before booking flights.
• Turkchem Eurasia (chemicals): Artkim Fuarcılık, Istanbul Expo Center, normally in November. The 11th edition runs on 25 to 27 November 2026 [5]. A 2027 date is not yet published [6].

Which fairs cover dental, food, beauty, jewellery and stone?

• IDEX Istanbul (dental): Dişsiad with Winnow Fuarcılık, Istanbul Expo Center, in April. The 2026 edition was scheduled for 15 to 18 April [7]. The next is 14 to 17 April 2027 [8].
• CNR Food Istanbul (food and beverage): CNR Expo, Yeşilköy. A listing gives 26 to 29 August 2026 [9]. We could not open the organiser's own site, and 2027 dates could not be verified.
• Beauty Eurasia (cosmetics): ICA Events, Istanbul Expo Center. The 21st edition was scheduled for 2 to 4 September 2026 [10]. The organiser's site lists the next as 15 to 17 December 2027 [11], a change from the usual September slot.
• Istanbul Jewelry Show: Informa Markets, Istanbul Expo Center, held twice a year. After 30 September to 3 October 2026, the next are 31 March to 3 April 2027 and 6 to 9 October 2027 [12].
• Marble Izmir (natural stone): İZFAŞ, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, at Fuarİzmir. The 2026 edition was scheduled for 14 to 17 April [13]. The next is 13 to 16 April 2027 [14].

How do foreign exhibitors book space?

Each organiser has its own online route: the Turkchem site offers a stand application form [6], Beauty Eurasia a Book a Stand page and exhibitor portal [11], and Marble Izmir a pre-application form with a telephone contact [14]. Space is sold in square metres [6]. Booths in a council pavilion are smaller: CHEMEXCIL's 2026 India Pavilion at BeautyIstanbul offered built-up booths of 9 square metres [15]. Book early. PLEXCONCIL reported that PlastEurasia 2023 sold out two months before opening and that the foreign exhibitor rate rose 73% [16].

Do Indian export promotion councils support Turkish fairs?

Some do. CHEMEXCIL ran an India Pavilion at BeautyIstanbul in May 2026 [15] and announced participation in Turkchem in 2016 [17]. PLEXCONCIL had nine exhibitors at PlastEurasia 2023 [16]. We found no confirmation that EEPC India or FIEO support Turkish fairs, so ask them directly.

Funding exists through the government's Market Access Support scheme, a ₹4,531 crore scheme announced in January 2026 that funds overseas fair participation, with the government covering 60% of approved cost and up to 80% in priority areas [18]. Applications are usually routed through councils and associations [19].

What visa timing applies to Indian passport holders?

Indian nationals can get a Turkish e-visa if they hold a valid visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, the USA, the UK or Ireland. The supporting document must cover the entry date, and airlines check it before boarding [20]. The e-visa is valid only for tourism or commerce, and it is applied for at evisa.gov.tr [20]. If you lack a supporting document, you need a sticker visa from a Turkish mission, and we found no official processing time for it, so apply well before the fair.

How do you set buyer meetings before the fair?

US government guidance says personal contact in Türkiye is critical, and that larger Turkish cities host most fairs [21]. Start early: ask the organiser about hosted buyer programmes (Beauty Eurasia advertises 500 or more VIP buyers from 69 countries [11]), send a product sheet to contacts you already have and propose fixed time slots at your stand.
